IEE is a global leader in automotive safety sensing systems for occupant detection and classification with products such as OCTM, BodySenseTM, Seat Belt Reminders and ProtectoTM, enhancing safety and comfort in vehicles produced by major car manufacturers worldwide.

Our Single Person Detector, People Counter and Queue Management application are being implemented in public and commercial infrastructure to increase the efficiency of building management and access security. These solutions are based on our innovative 3D MLI SensorTM technology.

Our sensing systems are dedicated to the following markets: Transportation & Automotive, Public & Commercial Infrastructure, Consumer Electronics, Medical & Healthcare and Automation & Logistics.

Who we are
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Luxembourg, IEE operates worldwide. For the past two decades, we have demonstrated outstanding performance in innovation and have an impressive record of growth to show for it.

We employ 1,400 people worldwide and operate technical centers in Luxembourg, Germany, Slovakia, the United States, China and South Korea, as well as a representative office in Japan. We have a worldwide distribution and sales partner network and operate manufacturing sites in Luxembourg, Slovakia and China. One fifth of our workforce is dedicated to research and development.
